MVPC Burrito Crew

Meets weekly on Wednesday

12:30pm in MVPC Life Center 

The program originally began in 2020 as the pandemic gripped the world. At the time, a local hotel conference that would have served a complimentary breakfast was cancelled, leaving frozen scrambled eggs that were ultimately donated to the Community Kitchen. Pastor Jim Webb, who also had catering experience, offered to help the kitchen out and gathered church volunteers to use the eggs to make burritos at the church that they would then donate back to the kitchen to serve.

Since then, a small group of volunteers has met every week, using the church’s kitchen to whip up around 150 burritos every Wednesday to go back to the Community Kitchen to feed the hungry in Loveland.
