MVPC

Mountain View Presbyterian Church is a mission minded congregation.

Our Mission Committee is charged with disbursing congregational monies

in support of mission opportunities locally, nationally and internationally.

It also coordinates the direct participation of members of the congregation

in support of those missions.

MVPC & Engalaweni, Malawi Partnership

20 years of friendship, kinship,
and spiritual partnership

In 2021, Mountain View Presbyterian Church (MVPC) and the Engalaweni Church of Central Africa Presbyterian celebrated 20 years of friendship, kinship, and spiritual partnership.  Our vibrant and blessed relationship began as a pen pal letter in 2001 and developed into a formal Partnership Agreement later that same year

LOCAL

Locally, the church is very active with organizations such as Loveland Habitat for Humanity, House of Neighborly Services, Community Kitchen and Blessed Beginnings - our community ministry providing cribs and layettes to families in need.  MVPC provides both financial support and volunteer labor to make the programs successes.

Please see what other local missions we support locally.

NATIONAL

Nationally, MVPC works with and through many  Presbyterian Church (USA) and non-denominational organizations to meet the requirements of those in need.  For instance, MVPC furnishes both funds and labor to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA).  Congregation members have worked on the ground to clean up and rebuild the aftermaths of recent hurricanes and tornados.  Please see what other national missions we support.

INTERNATIONAL

In addition to our robust partnership with the Engalaweni congregation located in Malawi, Africa (see above), MVPC supports an array of international mission organizations. These organizations provide support in such areas as helping to sustain the most destitute and vulnerable children of the world, taking the gospel to remote places, training native doctors and nurses to provide basic health care services, building wells for clean water, working to eliminate human slavery and trafficking, and giving support to PCUSA mission workers in the field.
