Christmas @ MVPC
At MVPC we love to celebrate the Birth of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. We invite you to make plans to join us for a variety of events happening in December. Be sure to mark your calendar so you do not miss out!
Tuesday, December 24
Family Candlelight Service 5pm
Traditional Candlelight Service 7:30pm
We invite you to bring the family to experience the joy of Christmas at one of our Candlelight Worship Services. Goodie bags are provided to all children at both services.
The Family Service at 5:00 pm takes place in our Life Center. Worship includes a special storytime for children as well as favorite Christmas Carols and Scripture.
The Traditional Service at 7:30 pm takes place in our Sanctuary. Worship will feature our Choir, Bell Choir, and Organ along with our Favorite Hymns and Scripture.
Alternative Giving
Looking for a special gift this year? Why not choose to bless an organization on behalf of your recipient. Shop online or on Sunday mornings. A unique way to celebrate and bless others.

Grace, whose Greek translation ‘charis’ means “gift,” is indeed the crowning expression of the story of Christmas. Though “Joy,” “Noel,” or “Peace” most commonly adorn the Christmas season, the entire Advent story is wrapped in grace —woven throughout all of Scripture, not just in the cherished Gospel passages. Long before the baby was laid in the manger, God had already laid out the plan of redemption…

We can’t understand the full meaning of Advent without reflecting on the story of grace across all Scripture and human history. Advent recalls the longing for a Savior, centuries of waiting and the prophecies and promise of the Messiah. It celebrates His arrival, sacrifice, resurrection and return. This is the story of grace to come.

"Follow the Star" Scavenger Hunt
A fun-filled evening for ALL ages! Journey through Bethlehem with your own passport as you greet the people who live there: Roman Soldiers, Inn Keepers, Shepherds, Angels, and a humble Mother & Father. Enjoy live music, a Petting Zoo with all your favorite animals, Warm drinks of Hot Cocoa & Coffee, and Fresh Popcorn. Once your passport is all stamped you will search for your PRIZE from the Prize Patrol!
