Sunday Afternoon Study

The Book of Galatians
Led by Elder Garry Neuschwanger

Sundays 2:00- 3:00pm

In Meeting Room 1

This study is about Paul's letter to churches in Galatia which he founded during his missionary journey.  Paul was angry at the church members in Galatia because they were listening to different messages that opposed Jesus's teachings.  This letter is the most passionate and forceful letter in the New Testament  These 11 studies will allow us to grapple with some contemporary issues which are related to problems faced by Paul and the Galatians.

Study Books "Galatians" by Jack Kuhatschek will be provided.

For those who yearn for a deeper walk of faith, their journey can begin here.
Dr. R. C. Sproul takes theology down from the dusty shelves of theological libraries and expounds in clear and simple terms more than one hundred major Christian doctrines. He offers readers an essential understanding of the Christian faith that will kindle a lifelong love for truth, which is foundational to maturity in Christ. Here are theologically sound explanations of the biblical concepts every Christian should know, written in a way that we all can understand. Sproul’s homespun analogies and illustrations from everyday life make this book interesting, informative, and easy to read.

How can they develop a faith that won't waver or crumble when they're overwhelmed by life's trials and temptations? The book of James answers these questions and more and provides practical guidance on many issues that affect Christian women daily, such as:

  • persevering through life's troubles

  • putting on a heart of patience

  • planning the future with God in mind

An encouraging resource for women who yearn to experience real spiritual growth!
