Pastors and Staff

The Reverend Gary LeTourneau
Senior Pastor / Head of Staff

Gary’s eloquently articulated theology and his truly outstanding qualifications “rose to the top” time after time in our discussions. He is a man of great character and compassion who is dedicated to teaching, preaching, and living the tenets of the Reformed faith. He is committed to the preservation of the purity and the unity of the PCUSA. Gary was ordained in 1984 after earning a M. Div. in Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Studies from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.  Gary has served God’s church as an Assistant Pastor for 1 year in Durango, CO; as an Associate Pastor for 6 years in Albuquerque, NM; as Senior Pastor for 12 years in Minnetonka, MN; as Interim Associate Pastor for 18 months at MVPC and 2 years in Longmont, CO. He has served as Parish Associate in Estes Park since May of 2007.  He has served on several committees in Presbytery and demonstrated great strengths in preaching, teaching, leadership, and administration. He has shown considerable skills in pastoral care---“drawing alongside people” and “caring for the flock.”  Gary and his wife Joan and their children Hannah and Ben are eager to make MVPC their new church home.

The Reverend James Webb
Associate Pastor

Before coming to Mountain View Presbyterian as Associate Pastor, Jim served as the Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Yuma, Colorado where he gained an appreciation for the power of a congregation seeking unity and reliance upon strong lay leadership.  A graduate of Union Theological Seminary in Virginia, he has a personal commitment to renewed expressions of the essential tenets of the Reformed Tradition in the whole of life beginning with worship. His background includes relational youth ministry, audio and video integration in worship, dramatic script writing and men's ministry.  An educational major in communications has allowed him to be a jack of all trades in multiple situations.  Jim is a strong advocate for relational evangelism, Reformed church renewal, and empowerment of the laity as expressed in the reformed concept of parity in ministry. He is a mentor for the Presbytery Comissioned Lay Pastor program and has taught several classes regarding the roles of lay ministers in the post modern era.  He and his wife Sharon have two young children, Rebecca and Jacob.  They enjoy camping and traveling, as well as the much valued night at home together.
